The Kingframe Steel Frame Building System provides a complete building structure and shell solution. The structural frame comprises Kingspan light gauge steel sections and components to create transportable sub assembly panels for delivery and installation on site.

The system provides:

• A structural load bearing wall solution
• A span capacity of up to 8.5 metres for concrete composite and cassette floors
• Concrete composite floors up to 8 storeys (limited to 6 storeys in RoI)
• Lateral support of masonry cladding or support for cladding carrier system
• General storey height up to 3.5m - maximum height of 6.0m

External Wall Panels

Kingframe  external walls panels comprise light gauge steel sections with factory fitted external insulation and external cladding connection systems, offering  BRE certification assured thermal, acoustic and fire performance

• U-values down to 0.11 W/m2K
• Up to 2 hours fire rating
• Acoustic attenuations and airtightness exceeding Building Regulation requirements

Concrete Floors

Kingframe is designed to incorporate either composite concrete or joisted floor cassettes facilitating up to 8.5m spans. In conjunction with floating floors and acoustic ceilings, can provide excellent acoustic performance.

Façade Types

Kingframe will incorporate a variation of façade types including: Masonry - Brick slip, Rainscreen façades, Composite panels, Insulated render, Rendered blockwork and GRC panels.

Single & Twin Party Walls

Kingframe can incorporate either single or twin party walls, complying with building Regulation requirements for sound transfer and fire resistance in either system.

Hot Rolled Sections

Kingframe can incorporate hot rolled steel beams and columns where necessary in order to supplement the cold rolled sections. This allows for open span areas where required and can accommodate non-continuous load paths.
